Solution Focused or Person Centred Therapy
I can help with relationship problems, anger management, bereavement and loss, and life direction issues.
Sometimes we don’t like where our life is heading or perhaps it feels like our life is heading nowhere and we need to kick-start a change.
My approach is to use Person Centred therapy where we work through what is happening for you and why it affects you the way it does and use Solution Focused Therapy to focus on the future you want and the daily tasks and steps that will take you there.
I realise this is a difficult step so that is why I offer a free, no-commitment trial call of 20 minutes. This gives you the chance to see and talk to me, try out the technology and decide if we suit each other.
After that, if you want to continue I will send you information explaining how I work and how I handle your data and maintain confidentiality, and we will then book our first session for a time that suits you.
I offer a positive approach to help you find answers to the challenges you face. We will work at your pace on the issues you want to address.
I qualified as a Person Centred psychotherapist in 2011 and worked in the voluntary sector for the bereavement agency Cruse for many years.
I have provided many hours of bereavement support and have completed all the Cruse training during my time working for them.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP
Having completed further study I am also qualified to provide Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
This means that besides offering traditional person-centred therapy I can help people who, for whatever reason, don’t want to spend time dwelling on their problems or rehashing the past.
