Nurture & Grow Counselling Service

Hi, my name is Crystal Halloran and I am the founder of Nurture & Grow Counselling Service. I am a caring, empathetic and non-judgemental professional counselling practitioner who puts the client at the forefront of every interaction by nurturing each person’s journey, choices, development and autonomy in a safe and therapeutic environment.

I have over 4½ years in private practice, where I operate my own counselling service providing therapy for children (6+), young people and individual counselling for adults of all ages. I specialise in supporting children (9+), young people and adults with disability to engage in fulfilling, meaningful lives. As part of my private practice, I also provide short-term counselling in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) space, delivering solution-focused brief therapy to help clients navigate everyday challenges, manage stress and enhance wellbeing.

In addition to my private practice, I bring over 16 years of experience across the social, community and welfare sectors, including roles as:

*Behaviour support practitioner

*Team leader — disability services

*Independent contractor — disability support worker

*NDIS local area coordinator(LAC)

*Case manager — homeless children, young people and young families.

I am highly qualified with a bachelor’s degree in counselling and hold a range of certified training, including a diploma in management (community services), Certificate IV in Youth Work, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Certificate III in Children’s Services, Mental Health First Aid, and current First Aid & CPR. I maintain full legal clearances: Working With Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and National Police Clearance.
